Please read the following safety and etiquette terms,
and complete the liability waiver below,
in order to receive your sauna entry code. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SAUNA USE:

Our sauna is a shared amenity provided for the health and well-being of our guests. Please keep the space clean and safe, and follow all instructions. Remember that others may prefer a quiet visit.


Safety:

  • No glass in hot room

  • Do not touch stones, and keep your body and all objects away from heater

  • Use only clean water with ladle on stones

  • Stay well hydrated and monitor your body for signs of overheating. If you feel uncomfortable, sleepy, or dizzy, leave the hot room immediately

Etiquette:

  • Wear swimwear or partial clothing, remove your shoes

  • Keep a towel between you and the bench 

  • Ask others before creating steam or adding oils

  • Keep hot room door closed

  • No smoking, food, or pets in the sauna

Sauna Pass holders are responsible for their own safety and etiquette, and that of all members of their party. Participation in sauna is hazardous and use is at your own risk. El Nido Cabins assumes no responsibility for personal loss, injury, or illness of any kind which may result from use of the sauna. 

 

SAUNA WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM

In consideration for myself, and all persons entering under my supervision, being permitted to use the sauna amenity at El Nido Cabins, I and all persons in my party agree to the following waiver and release: 

I acknowledge that sauna is an extreme environment and poses inherent risks for illness, injury, personal loss or death. Those risks include but are not limited to: exposure to extreme heat; hypothermia and heat-related illness; dehydration and exhaustion; burns from heater and steam; uneven, wet, or icy surfaces; exposure to wildlife and extreme weather. 

I am responsible for determining my fitness for participating in sauna and my ability to fully understand and comply with any and all instructions and warnings presented. I understand that I should not sauna if I have any underlying health issues and that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before sauna use. 

I assume full responsibility for participation, and knowingly, voluntarily and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, related to sauna activity.

I have read and agree to abide by all rules and policies for sauna use at El Nido Cabins, as posted above and in the sauna entry. I am aware that by signing this agreement I am waiving certain legal rights which I or my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns and representatives may have against the releasees.  

I hereby acknowledge that El Nido Cabins is not responsible for any illness, injury, personal loss or death resulting from participation in sauna-related activities.  

My electronic signature below confirms that I knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify and hold harmless, El Nido Cabins and its officers and employees, of all liability for any personal loss, injury or illness which may result from use of the sauna and its surroundings.
