Where am I?

El Nido is perched on a plateau on Yakama ceded lands, above Washington’s Yakima Valley, on a scenic byway that connects the city of Yakima (farmer’s markets, taco trucks, antiquing) to Mt. Rainier National Park (alpine hiking, skiing, magic). Along the route are desert canyons, basalt formations, swimming holes, farm stands, breweries, fields of hops, and working farms.

Tieton town square is two blocks from El Nido, serving the families who run the surrounding orchards and fruit storage facilities with family-run restaurants, groceries, a bakery, and a barbershop. An artist community has also cropped up in Tieton, centered around the studios and event spaces at Mighty Tieton Warehouse, and the art gallery in town square.

Please explore the area and take care of our neighbors!
