CANCELLATION POLICY

INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS:
We take payment in full to confirm individual bookings. Cancel for a full refund at least 30 days before arrival, 50% up to 7 days before arrival. No refunds within 7 days of arrival.

FULL PROPERTY BOOKINGS:
We run a 50% deposit to confirm full property bookings. Cancel for a refund of that deposit up to 60 days prior to arrival. Within 60 days of arrival, the deposit will be retained. Within 14 days of arrival, 100% of cabin charges and camping set-up fees become non-refundable.

Your final balance will include a $100 housekeeping surcharge (covers the extra cost of sorting out after groups and a minimal gratuity for your housekeeper).

A damage deposit will be authorized on your credit card before arrival: $500 for cabin rentals, and an additional $200 for sauna and $100 for camping, if using those amenities. Damage deposits are fully refundable after departure once all checks out in good condition.

SEASONAL WEATHER:

WINTER MONTHS (November through March):
Snow can be expected on mountain passes, and often locally as well. Local roads are plowed regularly, along with the El Nido driveway. Plan on WSDOT requirements for AWD or chains over the pass. WSDOT often closes passes overnight and early morning, so it’s best to cross at mid-day for clear roads and fair weather. If there is a daytime pass closure of more than two hours, a forecast of 10+ inches of snow during your travel days, or winter driving conditions outside of these months, we can offer a rebooking credit for another date.

SUMMER MONTHS (June through September):
Plan on summer being hot and sometimes smoky. Cabins have fans and cool off overnight from our higher elevation. During our new wildfire smoke season, afternoon breezes often blow settled smoke away, and localized smoke can sometimes be avoided. If there is a ‘heat dome’ forecasted for your trip dates (daytime highs over 100, and overnight lows above 70), or if Airnow.gov is forecasting an AQI over 150 for our zip code 98947, we can issue a rebooking credit for another date.

DUPLEX CABINS
Each of our cabins shares one wall with its neighbor. Quiet hours are 11pm–8am.
Booking both sides of a duplex works great for groups!

PETS
Well behaved dogs are welcome, no more than 2, for $30 per visit.
Please keep noise in mind when considering bringing your animal friends (barking makes for sad neighbors).

CLEANING
Cabins are aired out and cleaned thoroughly between guests using bio-based cleaning products. Special attention is given to bedding, including duvet covers and pillow protectors, using hot wash cycles and fragrance-free enzyme detergents. Please keep in mind that dishes and kitchenwares are cleaned by guests (housekeeping doesn’t re-wash them). Clean sponges and dish soap are provided. We can drop off extra supplies for longer stays, but do not offer housekeeping while cabins are occupied.

LIMITED RETURNS ON RETAIL ORDERS
Most of our products are custom production pieces, and cannot be returned unless the item is defective or does not match its description in a significant way. We may be able to cancel an item order if we have not yet begun production, so please contact us right away with any requests. Please remember that all products with hand crafted processes will vary slightly from the product image.
